A Brief Review of What to Wear on a Texas Gameday:
1. Burnt Orange. Duh. If it’s not rediculously hot - perhaps this J.Crew silk cami.
2. White. Always safe. Always chic. Always cool. And best of all - doesn’t show sweat. Try this American Eagle cotton number.
3. Boots. Because we’re Texas. I will personally be stealing these beauties from the roomie. They’re handmade in Austin at Heritage.
4. A cute dress. It’s cool and it’s cute and you can go straight from the tailgate in the State lots to your seats in DKR to downtown. Or back to Matthew McConaughey’s for some bongos and refer. Try the Co-op for some cute burnt orange dresses.
5. Brown. It’s quickly becoming an unoffical Texas color. If anything, because it doesn’t show sweat or spilled beer as quickly as burnt orange. Bonus points if it’s brown and burnt orange together. Macy’s has a great selection of cheap fall dresses.
6. Your burnt orange Nike tempo running shorts. Because sometimes, it’s too damn hot to put a chic look together. Or maybe you were hungover. Or maybe you ran from the trails straight to the game. Either way, we do casual just as easy as we do dressy. Tyler’s tempo selection rocks.
